A founding partner at the firm of Miljours Paquette Legal Counsel located in Kirkland, Quebec, Me Jean René Paquette practices law and manages a competent team of legal experts that is focused on effective problem solving.

His law practice provides legal authority in the areas of commercial and corporate law, civil litigation and distribution.  He specialized himself in corporate law, acting often as head counsel in corporate deals such as mergers, acquisition and refinancing where he is known for his efficiency and appreciated by all of the actors of the deal for his closing aptitudes. He has extensive knowledge of the Food, Natural Health Product and Cosmetic Act and Regulation.  In the past, he has held the position of executive legal counsel within a Montreal-based Biotechnology Corporation. Also, Me Paquette has recently been called upon to lend his expertise to an Oxford Press published title, “You’re Hired. Now What? An Immigrant’s Guide to Success in Canada” by Lynda Goldman.

An accomplished negotiator and veteran entrepreneur, Me Paquette sits on several Boards of Directors, such as the CLD West Island and is the Chapter President for BNI Fusion.
