  	Créez quelque chose de plus pour la fête des Mères Une cliente m’a raconté que sa mère avait encore sur son mur de salon, trente-quatre ans plus tard, le seul portrait de studio pris d’elle avec ses frères. Il parait qu’une voisine qui n’avait pas d’enfants elle-même a offert de garder les enfants à sa maison pour l’après-midi et donner une pause à la maman. Ils sont alors partis au studio de portrait et se sont faits photographiés pour faire une surprise pour la mère fatiguée. Cette journée-là, le benjamin portait un haut de pyjama, la chemise du frère du milieu avait une tache de ketchup et la cadette s’est coiffée toute seule. Les sourires étaient magnifiques et la mère a adoré le portrait. Chaque photo raconte une histoire, certaines sont plus belles que d’autres.   	Making Something More From Mother’s Day A client told me that her mom still has the only studio portrait taken of her and her two siblings up on her living room wall thirty-four years later. The story goes that a neighborhood lady friend who didn’t have kids of her own offered to take the kids to her house for the afternoon and give mom a break. Off they went to the portrait studio and were photographed for a surprise gift for tired mom. The youngest boy was wearing a pyjama top, the middle brother’s shirt had a ketchup stain and the oldest had done her own hair that day. The smiles were beautiful, and mom loved it. Every picture tells a story, some are better than others. Cookie Insider : Do you ever read blogs on the internet?   Coordinating Colours for Large Group Photo Sessions

  Getting the in-laws together for a portrait can be a challenge. Everybody has their own ideas about fashion and style, so what can you do to make it all work together? The easiest solution is to make sure everybody dresses the same, but if you want to let people bring out their personalities, ask them pick their wardrobe within two easy parameters: Colour and Season. Choose a range of colours that work together, you can look through online catalogues and fashion magazines for ideas – then send out an email with examples of clothing in that colour range. Spring and autumn can be tricky – somebody might show up in their favourite sundress while someone else is wearing their warmest Shetland wool sweater. Let everybody know ahead of time what attire would be appropriate.
