Summer didn’t arrive until august, so let’s all look forward to a beautiful Back to School.

You don’t want to celebrate your Grad dinner in the school cafeteria, so why would you want to get your grad pictures taken in the library? 99$ for a photo session, cap and gown, corsage and 1 image printed in 3 sheets of different formats.

Speaking of Back to School, here are some tips to make sure that your class pictures and graduation portraits are keepers!

The Cookie Insider: Awesome graduation portraits 101

* Hair: Guys (especially) get your haircut 2 weeks in advance, tan lines on the face are a major fashion faux -pas. Brush your hair before the picture is taken.

* Advanced Grooming: Holding a diploma? Use a nail file and hand cream 10 minutes before. Flakey skin really shows up in pictures. Lip balm is also your friend.

* Check eyeglass fitting a few days beforehand, most optometrists will straighten them out for free.

* The Buddy System: Have a friend check for neat hair, wrinkles on the gown, uneven collars, clean face and teeth.

* Go to bed early the night before.
